You may be unable to repay your debts due to loss of income caused by illness, redundancy or relationship breakdowns or have got into financial difficulty due to covid-19. We can certainly help by providing a solution to suit your circumstances and taking away the worry and stress.
Whatever the reason you are visiting our website, we have lots of information and advice for you, please check out our freebies where you can gain lots of knowledge and tips to help you. We were struggling managing our debts and being self employed with variable income only made things worse. Thankfully working with DRS we have been able to make regular affordable repayments to suit our pocket knowing that we will one day be debt free.
Since my separation I found I was unable to manage my money and my debts were spiralling out of control. DRS have been a rock for me and my family and we feel so much happier knowing we can call them any time for help when needed.
A real weight was lifted right from the first call, now we are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's going to take a while, but we are confident that with the help of DRS things are already improving.
If you have been struggling with debts, you may find yourself facing Court action at some point in the future. This can be a big shock with court documents arriving out of the blue. The thought of being taken to court for non-payment of debts can be overwhelming and can also make you feel anxious and worried about your future.
The key is not to worry, easy for me to say, I know. One of the most important things you can do is to tackle the situation head-on. Don't be tempted to bury your head in the sand. Don't hide away the paperwork and most important of all, please don't suffer in silence. Seek help if you need to.
Firstly, contact the court and ask them for more time if you need it. The paperwork you may have received might give you a set time to respond and if this is not enough, then please ask for more time. You should then decide if you are disputing the debt entirely, or in part, or agree with the debt. If the debt is to be disputed, then you can do this through the court and they will advise you how to do this.
